The Deane F. Johnson Center for Neurotherapeutics at UCLA (JCNT) opened its doors on October 12, 2004 as a clinical trial center devoted to advancing treatment of neurological diseases. JCNT provides advanced academic expertise and resources, clinical trials support, and educational programs. Our mission is to support clinical trials of new medications for neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and stroke. JCNT sponsors educational programs to translate scientific advances into improved patient care. JCNT represents a unique national resource and an innovative collaboration of UCLA Neurology faculty members, philanthropists, and pharmaceutical companies dedicated to advancing treatments for brain diseases.
